Last week at work for Down Under Visa – Reality time!

Hello All. This is a clients-only post today.

I think everyone would know by now that Friday 18 December is our last day until we come back on Monday 4 January 2016. In fact we plan on closing a bit early on Friday so we can have a Christmas party for the staff.

We have applications that are ready to lodge and those that we are finalising right now, and of course we will do everything we can to lodge them this week. We expect to be working some long hours.

But please be realistic when it comes to your application if yours is not yet ready. If your documents arrive on our doorstep this week, they need the following done before the application can go out:

(a) They need to be checked thoroughly and approved as suitable for your application

(b) Your application forms need to be prepared, checked, and sent to you for checking and approval

(c) If you haven't paid the balance of your account yet, we will prepare and send you an invoice. That means we need to wait for your payment to appear in our account. And we need to pay the Department and wait for a receipt

(d) We need to organise the courier to collect your application

If your documents arrive today or tomorrow, we can't do all these things by Friday. Rush-jobs = mistakes, and our priority has always been to prepare the best possible application for you and to see that it gets approved once the Embassy get it. Quality always wins over speed.
