How Can We Help?
Do we need to live together for 12 months first?
If you intend applying for an onshore Partner Visa based on marriage, no you do not. If you are applying based on an established de facto relationship, yes.

Hi Jeff, I am considering using your service for Partner visa for my Pilipino girlfriend later next year. She is applying for a student visa now as it is the only way of getting Onshore. I expect that late this year international students will be allowed to come , and once she is onshore, I would like to start our Partner visa process with you. Do you think it is a good pathway we are taking and will it benefit or jeopardize our Partner application? Some advice would be appreciated Jeff. Just not sure if we are missing here something which could be harder to get later if this pathway is not the best. Best Regards, Al
Your issue is that she needs to be a genuine student, and not use a student visa as a way of getting onshore. This can come back and bite you. Suggest you do a free visa assessment and let me give you some proper guidance.
