Visitor Visas (aka Tourist Visas) are temporary visas designed for temporary stays in Australia. They are for visiting friends and relatives and for general tourism purposes. They are not for working, or designed as a stepping-stone to a permanent stay. For Down Under Visa clients they are generally for couples who are not yet ready to commit to a permanent visa (ie a Partner Visa), and wish to spend some time together in Australia enhancing their relationship and possibly planning for their future together (or not!) They are also often used for former clients who are settled in Australia to bring relatives to visit them in Australia.
