Free Visa Assessments
People email me and ask what it costs to get a visa to Australia from the Philippines! “I want to bring my Filipina girlfriend to Australia. How much is it?” Or they want to know what paperwork they need. What documents? What evidence? Usually it’s “What are my requirements?”
If we were a “visa shop”, yes that would be the way to ask. Jeff’s One Stop Visa Shop!
But we’re not!
We’re Registered Migration Agents, and that’s something that’s a cut above a “McVisas”! McTouristVisa anyone?
As a Registered Migration Agent I have a Code of Conduct I need to adhere to, and that means we cannot take on cases unless we honestly believe there is a strong chance of success. And for this reason we don’t have a menu or a price list!
What Down Under Visa will do is to assess your case visa a free visa assessment form, and advise you:
- IF we believe you have a strong case or if we do not
- What visa type or types would be ideal for your circumstances and plans
- Costs of both Government fees and professional fees for managing an application
- Issues you clearly need to deal with, and
- An approximate time frame for processing an application
What we won’t tell you initially is “What are my requirements” because it’s way too early for that.
Once you become our client, we will:
- Assess you further, so we know exactly what documents and evidence of your relationship you will need to organize, and
- We will receive and check those documents and relationship evidence items and check them for suitability
This is actually about 85% of the work in the whole process. There is no “standard list” of what you need. Everyone is different. And without checking for suitability, it would be useless anyway. We put an enormous amount of work into document checking.
How do I get a Free Visa Assessment?
So easy it ain’t funny! It will take you a whole five minutes to do!
- Click on the link HERE
- Be clear about what you want, ie
-
- don’t click “Partner Visa” if you only want a tourist visa for a visit.
- And DON’T click “Tourist Visa” if you intend remaining together! Partner Visas are for permanent stays, and tourist visas are for short visits!
-
- Be truthful, and make sure you mention anything especially significant
Then wait for your assessment!
The assessment is a pdf document usually 7 or 8 pages in length, which will tell you all you need to know at this stage.
You can then ask if you have further questions or concerns, or you can just click a link and say “Yes I’d like to get started, Jeff!”
