Permanent Partner Visa – Philippines to Australia

Another Down Under Visa client with a Permanent Partner Visa grant in April 2020, right at the height of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) lockdown time. Proof once again that not only are Down Under Visa still working every day, but so is the Department of Home Affairs (Immigration). Business as usual, which is very comforting to those Australian Filipina couples who are missing each other and waiting on partner visa grants of their own. Love manages to conquer all! Thank you to Dellerma for her kindness in sharing this with those who are waiting like she used to be.

Another Partner Visa Grant for a Down Under Visa Client

Dellerma and her husband James contacted us back in 2017 for their Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300, “fiancee” visa), and stayed with us all the way to her Subclass 801 Permanent Partner Visa grant which was granted to her in April 2020. She, like most Down Under Visa clients, realises how difficult if not impossible it would have been to try to get this far by themselves. Australian visa applications, especially partner visa applications, are hard work and contain plenty of confusing bits which could easily see you come unstuck especially on the way to a Permanent Partner Visa with all of those steps to go through. They appreciated the certainty that comes from dealing with experts and Registered Migration Agents experienced with Australian visas from Australian Filipina couples.

Dellerma

I let Dellerma know how much uncertainty there was out there amongst our existing clients and those Australian men and their Filipina ladies who haven’t yet taken that step due to all the negative stories and negative people and their tales of woe. Down Under Visa haven’t missed a single office day since the COVID-19 lockdowns started back in March, and we’ve seen a steady stream of visa grants coming through. Those who are members of our Philippines to Australia Facebook group already know this, as many of our new visa holders like to share their good news with other Australian Filipina couples who are also members.

And our thanks….Down Under Visa, and I know all of you….to Dellerma for making this effort. Not everyone is comfortable with making public statements, but fortunately there are kind people in the world and for that we are grateful.

this news is all very comforting to know ,and it is nice for those who already have their temp permanent visa , but for those of us still getting to the stage to submit our application it is very difficult to finaleize if you need some docs from the philippines gov . while there is lockdown .if it took 4 months to get before ,well make that about 12 months now .very frustrating

Never said that everything was fine. The point of the post was that the system has in no way shut down, and that where there’s a will there’s a way. Never lose hope!
