Typhoon Ompong is heading to the Philippine coast and is expected to cross in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Isabela – Cagayan Valley area of northern Luzon. Expected to be Category 3.
Now, this may still change. And for us who are in Cavite south of Manila are hoping that it keeps heading north and doesn’t swing west. We’re expecting Signal 1 or even Signal 2 winds if it keeps heading the way it is now.

Down Under Visa and Typhoons
If you email us over the weekend, we will do our best to answer. If we don’t answer? It may mean we’ve lost power. So please be aware of this possibility if you don’t hear from us particularly on Saturday.
For those of you who have loved ones in the pathway, we hope for your sake they stay safe. For anyone traveling? Don’t take unecessary risks!
It appears your prayers have been answered and Ompong stayed in the north and is now leaving the PAR. Still sad to learn (so far) 12 people have been killed there. Hope this is the last typhoon for this year…..
Yes, we all hope it will miss us knowing that means it will hit someone else. The poor north cops it all the time.
