Australian Visa Fee Rise
I bet THIS gets everyones attention! “Fee rise” and “fee increase” are no doubt two of the worlds most hated phrases, but yeah they do happen and we all know they are inevitable. And the Department (Department of Home Affairs, ie “Immigration”) are no exception. New Visa Application Charges start now.
Fortunately the days of the Abbott and Hockey highway-robbery increases have been pretty much promised to not occur again. The fee increases were very moderate last year and they’re low this year too. Just CPI (Consumer Price Index) increases and nothing more.
And please note these new fees WILL apply to any visa application not already lodged! Quotes by Down Under Visa as part of your visa assessment, as well as Migration Agent Representation Agreements don’t “lock in” Government charges that we have no control over. They can and will change and they will increase when the Government says they will. We have no special arrangements with the Department.
We DO however honour what we’ve quoted for our own professional fees as part of Agreements with existing clients. We’re only talking about Government fees.

No changes
I think all will agree not too painful, and there shouldn’t be any changes for the next 12 months. Looking forward to seeing your visa applications finalised, lodged and seen through to their generally wonderful conclusions. And that means more happy Australian Filipina couples getting together. Best regards to all!
Does this fee cover DUV cost or just Australian govt charge please?
Those are just the Government charges, Tony. We have professional fees on top of that, which we quote to you when you have an assessment done. https://www.assessments.downundervisa.com
