In this week’s episode of our Weekly Q&A one participant asked Can I pay the visa application charge for an Australian partner visa or fiancée visa application in installments?

The exact question was:

The cost of an Australian partner visa or fiancée visa for my lady from the Philippines is high. Is it possible to pay it off (the visa fees) in installments over the initial two year period?

Australian partner visas and fiancee visas (prospective marriage visas) are expensive, and sometimes it’s a real struggle to come up with the fees for the visa application. Is there any way of paying this off to the Department of Immigration by installments?

It’s not possible to pay off a visa application in installments, sorry. The Government require full payment of fees at the time of lodgement of the application.

Are you talking about the Government charges? No, need to pay at lodgement time in full.
