Greetings to all Down Under Visa clients, especially those waiting on tourist visas.

I mentioned in a post the other week (HERE) that tourist visa processing was slower than Manila’s usual speedy pace, and that I suspected they were just overworked.

Just had two visa grants through today for tourist visas, and the Case Officers were from the permanent section. Never seen this happen before. Obviously they have a large workload in the temporary (ie tourist visas) section and are doing their best to catch up.

So hopefully not too much longer!
