Hello to Down Under Visa clients!
We survived the typhoon, as you would have gathered. Surviving without electricity for three days was even harder. I was using my phone to keep up with clients as well as I could, plugging it into the car whenever it went anywhere to keep the battery up. Serious pain!
Thank you to those who sent well-wishing messages. Very thoughtful of you.
And thank you to all of you who showed patience and understanding during this time too. It certainly wasn’t a lazy ol’ time, I can tell you. I’m a workaholic by nature, and I find it very stressful when I can’t do what I need to do.
And a note to those who are waiting on applications being lodged:
We were completely held up last week because we couldn’t make payments to the Department for the visa application charges. We need to do this first, as they won’t accept the applications without payment receipts. We lodged a large number of payments on Monday morning, and right now we’re still waiting on the receipts coming back from them. We’re about to send them a polite reminder.
Rest assured, as soon as those receipts come back we’ll get the applications away.
Regards to all!
Jeff Harvie
