Down Under Visa Logo

Greetings to all Down Under Visa clients!

We’ve just put some photos of the new office interior on the Down Under Visa Facebook Page, which is HERE. Please feel free to have a look, and feel free to “like” the page.

Just a reminder again to ensure you send all document packages to the NEW address.

Aguinaldo Highway

Dasmarinas, Cavite 4114

Philippines

For those who are coming out to see us, please print out the MAP and show to your driver. It’s REALLY easy to find. The Aguinaldo Highway runs from the Coastal Road in Manila all the way through Bacoor and Imus and goes through to Tagaytay (which you really should visit for the  views, the cool weather and the great restaurants and hotels).

To those who are waiting on replies to requests, my apologies for the delay. We’ve had record numbers of emails and requests. I’m trying to get to everyone today! That’s my plan anyway….

And to those who are wanting to know about progress on visa applications? Nothing has changed. The Australian Embassy in Manila work at their own pace, and it remains a “don’t call us, we’ll call you” arrangement with them. We can’t speed things up, and you can’t find out when your visa application will be granted.

Be aware too that as the Philippines is rife with dodgy documents, they have a duty to maintain the integrity of Australia’s borders. Note that they now call themselves The Department of Immigration and Border Protection! The same people who complain about “illegals” arriving by boats will also complain about the visa system being tough! Application delays are often caused by the Embassy scrutinising certain applications closely, which can include checking up on the validity of documents you’ve provided. This can take time. They don’t lose applications. Just be patient, and if you’ve provided truthful statements and genuine documents then you have nothing to worry about.
