Dear clients,
A continuation on yesterday’s Down Under Visa BLOG post……..
This applies particularly to applications for Australian tourist visas. Everyone wants a tourist visa at this time of year. What better Christmas present could you possibly get than your loved one being there with you? And we most certainly DO understand this, which is why we’ve been very honest with you about the situation.
Last year (2012) wasn’t so bad. The Australian Embassy in Manila was remarkably efficient in processing pre-Christmas applications, and I think practically all of them went through without a hitch. I think I even emailed them and said WELL DONE.
However, this is not always the case. The previous years were generally nightmares at that time. Too many applications, and not enough man-hours to handle them. No one’s fault. It’s just the way it is. And I always warn our applicants of this possibility, and I do so now again. If you want a visa application to be granted before Christmas, then follow our instructions and get us everything we need ASAP!
We’ve had applicants lately asking us if the application is been lodged when they haven’t sent us a single document that we’ve requested from them! We can’t do everything for you. You need to do your part, and that starts by reading what we’ve sent you and following those instructions as quickly as you can.
And again, understand that once the application is lodged then it’s completely out of our hands. We can’t speed the application up. We can’t request progress reports. We have no news to tell you. If we did, we would have told you already.
So if you want it done soon, then please get cracking and help us to help you. Don’t leave it to the last minute.
